The letter encouraged social media partnerships to spark inclusive conversations on well-being and emphasized the importance of accessible mental health support for students.

This multi-perspective analysis explores a viral photograph of a tornado-damaged movie theater in Mayfield, Kentucky. Through personal, historical, technical, ethical, cultural, and critical lenses, the work dissects how visual elements like lighting, color, and composition evoke emotion and narrative. The project connects the image’s symbolic depth to broader societal issues, such as disaster response, forgotten communities, and media impact—highlighting how a single image can tell a powerful, multilayered story.
